At Region Security Guarding, we’re passionate about giving back to the community that has supported us over the years. We’re proud to have donated £500 to the Mayor of Wolverhampton’s Charitable Fund, an incredible initiative that raises funds each year to support local charities making a difference in the lives of residents.

A Tradition of Community Support
The Mayor’s Charitable Fund is dedicated to supporting a wide range of local causes. The current Mayor of Wolverhampton Sandra Samuels, was in charge of selecting which charities the funds would benefit.
Over the past decade, the fund has raised an impressive £300,000, helping to make a lasting impact on various charities and initiatives across the city.
Meeting the Mayor
On April 26th 2023, we had the honor of welcoming Mayor Sandra Samuels to our office. The Mayor took the time to meet with our team, learn more about our work, and discuss the importance of supporting local causes. It was a privilege to have her visit and show her gratitude for our contribution.
Supporting Local Charities
The Mayor’s Charitable Fund has supported many local organisations that provide vital services to those in need. Some of the incredible charities that have benefitted from the fund include:
- ACCI Wolverhampton: A charity dedicated to providing mental health support and services to individuals facing mental health challenges.
- Compton Care Wolverhampton: This charity offers care and support to those suffering from incurable conditions, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment and emotional support.
- Wolverhampton Sickle Cell Care and Activity Centre: Raising awareness and providing essential support for people affected by sickle cell disease, this charity plays a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals and families dealing with the condition.

At Region Security Guarding, we’re committed to supporting initiatives that uplift and strengthen our local community. We are proud to contribute to the Mayor’s Charitable Fund and remain dedicated to supporting local charities in Wolverhampton and beyond.
